North Peace Cultural Centre News Articles (1988-1990)

The North Peace Cultural Centre was built in 1992. Since then, it has been a vital source for the arts in Fort St. John. The following files contain a collection of newspaper clippings regarding the Cultural Centre prior to its grand opening. This includes articles such as the planning of the theatre’s design, the Penny Drive fundraiser, and photographs of the Cultural Centre under construction.

The articles also include a letter written by Duncan Cran, the namesake of the Duncan Cran Elementary school. A Festival Of Lessons And Carols: Northern Lights Chamber Choir (1985)

A Festival of Lessons and Carols is a Christmas concert from the Northern Lights Chamber Choir and Ensemble. This file contains a program from the event. It shows the various Christmas carols performed by the Choir and Ensemble, as well as a list of the individual members of the groups including Reader Beth Schilds and soloists Ester Oosterbaan, Melody Hewko, Laura Cardriver, James Oldenburg and Dan Dickout.
