Expo ’86 was an event located in Vancouver, British Columbia. The World Fair was held from May 2 until October 13, 1986. “Transportation and Communication: World in Motion – World in Touch” was the theme of the event. It was only the second time that Canada held the World Fair. Attached are news articles from the planning to the production of Expo 86. The catalogue included the integral role played by Sue Popesku in the event’s success. Also included in this catalogue is news of the 1986 Regional Juried Art Show held that year at the Dawson Creek Art Gallery, a program of the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council.
