High on Ice is a local event that has professional ice carvers that compete in different competitions. Since its inception through to 2012, the City of Fort St. John contracted the event to the Fort St. John Community Arts Council. This catalogue includes articles from 2009 related to the City’s reduced funding and the council’s leaning toward the event becoming more local in order to reduce costs.
