40th Anniversary of the Alaska Highway (1982)

Dawson Creek is known as “Mile 0” of the Alaska Highway. Dawson Creek was an isolated community because the Hart Highway had not yet been built, a dirt trail went to Fort St. John and there was nothing beyond. This catalogue includes a program for a Dawson Creek event that celebrated the 40th Anniversary of the building of the Alaska Highway along with some history and cartoons.
