The Northern Environmental Action Team began in 1989 and is an organization based in Fort St. John. Their mission and goal is to create meaningful change in the environmentalism of a community by educating and inspiring individuals to choose more sustainable methods in their everyday activities. This file is a sample of the organization’s proposal to build an Environmental Education Centre (circa 2006). Some of the topics discussed include an introduction to NEAT, their achievements, and the benefits of building the centre.
