The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council planned to make a permanent art object in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Alaska Highway. Unveiled in 2017, the sculpture was a collaborative work involving lead artists Emilie Mattson, Karl Mattson, and Adrienne Greyeyes under the advisement of renowned international artist Brian Jungen.
