- Peace River North Festival of the Arts
The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council’s Regional Juried Art Exhibit is an annual event for growing artists in the Peace Liard region. The exhibit includes a juried exhibit along with workshops. High profile adjudicators are invited to judge and critique. There are categories, criteria and requirements that must be followed in order to enter. In 2016, the RJAE was hosted by the Chetwynd Community Arts Council. This catalogue includes a poster and program from the 2016 event.

A collection of brochures and other publications for various fundraisers for the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation. These include the 2008 Bluey Day, the Patient Safety and Comfort Campaign in 2004, the 1998 Jazz Pot, and general information on the Foundation and Hospital.
The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council administers the annual Regional Juried Art Exhibit, an event for growing artists in the Peace Liard region. This catalogue includes the call for entry to the 1987 exhibit (feature painting by Laine Dahlen). In 1987, pieces were selected to be exhibited at a provincial show, “Images and Objects.” Pieces chosen in 1987 included work by Peter von Tiesenhausen, Laine Dahlen, and Robert Young.
The Medical Mania calendars were produced by medical staff throughout the northeast BC region as a fundraiser. This catalogue includes images from the 2004 and 2005 calendars.
This catalogue includes thank you certificates to the Fort St. John Community Arts Council and Artspace from School District 60 (1987/1988), the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce (1999), the Fort St. John Child Development Centre (1982) and the North Peace Historical Society (donation to the Fort St. John Pioneer Petroleum Museum).
Sue Popesku, along with two other women, are shown in this photograph as 2005 graduates from the Institute of Pottery Making (established in 1896) for their year long project (also depicted in photo).
This catalogue includes photos related to the Fort St. John Hospital and Foundation during the years of 2003-2005 along with a 2005 newspaper clipping from The Northerner asking for volunteers.

The BC Pavilion presented Frontiers of Peace from August 17 – August 23, 1986. Sue Popesku was in charge and organized the event highlighting the Peace River Region.
These photos and articles are from the Fort St. John hospital in 1992. This catalogue also includes the last baby born in 1991 and the first in 1992 as well as first baby born in April and on Mother’s Day and included Non-Smoking week, a Gala fundraiser, budget concerns, hospital layoffs, staff strike, as well as letters to the editor regarding a 1992 article written by Dave Williams of the Alaska Highway News, Taylor Sparks walk-a-thon, trustee election, donations to the Ric Wilson Mammography fund, and more.
These photos are from the hospital in 1991 and include articles on the new year’s and mother’s day babies, as well as donations, news on Candy Stripers, Hospital Administration, the death of Ric Wilson and more.
