Arts Alive is an event that promotes the many arts groups in Fort St. John. It includes booths and activities like children’s arts and crafts, and footpainting.
After the first performance by the Alcan Follies, the cast and musicians planned to start traveling to perform. They also appeared in a magazine called “dance” which was published in New York. People were raving about the Alcan Follies in 1946 and 1947.

The High on Ice Winter Festival is an annual event contracted out by the City of Fort St. John. Since its inception and until 2012, the Fort St. John Community Arts Council carried out this event. These are photos of ice carvers and their sculptures for the High On Ice Festival in Fort St. John in 2005.
