The Peace Liard Regional Juried Art Exhibit is an annual event. The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council runs the event and it varies year to year as to where it is located. Each year the event has a calendar with artwork from the previous Juried Art Exhibit. Attached is the calendar from 2020 showcasing the work recognized at the 2019 exhibit.

This catalogue contains the schedule of events for “Hands Across the North,” a Peace Region Arts Conference hosted by the Fort St. John Community Arts Council in 1987. The schedule also includes a list of committee members.

In 2014 the Peace Liard Regional Arts Council met to plan the 75th Anniversary of the Alaska Highway. Although the 75th Anniversary didn’t take place until 2017 they started planning several years in advance. This catalogue contains some of those planning documents.
The Peace Liard Regional Arts Council planned to make a permanent art object in celebration of the 75th Anniversary of the Alaska Highway. Unveiled in 2017, the sculpture was a collaborative work involving lead artists Emilie Mattson, Karl Mattson, and Adrienne Greyeyes under the advisement of renowned international artist Brian Jungen. This catalogue contains some of the presentation notes, promotional material, and newspaper articles.
This news article talks about funding received from the BC Arts Council by the the region’s arts councils in 2015. The funding is part of the 6.9 million being provided to 277 organizations in 97 communities. The article explains how the funding will be expended and highlights an individual writer, Rolla BC’s Donna Kane, who also received a grant through this funding program.
