A list of the milestones and achievements of the Fort ST. John Hospital Foundation, from 1994 to 2003.

These photos are from the Fort St. John hospital in 1987 and include articles on the 75th Anniversary of the Registered Nurses Association, new year’s and mother’s day babies, Candy Stripers, the Hospital Auxiliary, a No Smoking policy, and more.

Documents pertaining to Sue Popesku’s 2004 Woman of the Year Award. It includes her nomination from the Arts Council and congratulations for the award as well as a listing of other recipients of that year’s Northern British Columbia’s Today’s Women Awards.
A collection of photographs, newspaper articles, and a write-up related to the Fort St. John Community Arts Council’s Cultural Plan, which they carried out in 2007 and 2008 in partnership with the City of Fort St. John. The cultural plan was to set the direction for arts, cultural and heritage in the city. The arts council also began development of a cultural policy for the city.
A collection of photographs, certificates, and newspaper clippings that highlight some of Sue’s contributions and involvement in Fort St. John through the years. These include a photo of the new executive of the Fort St. John Community Arts Council for 1981/82, the 1988 executive of the Fort St. John Chamber of Commerce, Sue’s appointment as director of BC Tourism in 1999, a 2006 interview with Sue as “community fundraising guru,” notice of Sue’s retirement party from the Fort St. John Hospital Foundation in 2007, and a letter of appreciation for Sue’s service in tourism from Fort St. John mayor Lori Ackerman in 2016.
Attached are some photos depicting the Fort St. John Community Arts Council and their fundraisers which include an auction and attendees wearing painted hard hats (date unknown).

These include a 2015 listing of the names of the 28 people nominated for the Fort St. John Community Awards that year (8th annual event) along with a program cover of the 2010 Community Awards ceremony.
