A letter (April 1983) from the Artspace thanking community members and advocating for a permanent Artspace structure in Fort St. John. The second letter (May 1983) is from the Concert Society expressing their support of the structure.
A letter from the Fort St. John Community Arts Council to the B.C. Touring Council (1985). It contains general announcements on arts and heritage in Fort St. John and surrounding northern regions. The letter is handwritten by Sue Popesku representing the North Region BC Touring Council.
The following documents are meeting minutes from the Fort St. John Concert Society (1979-1985). A sample from each year was taken and are composed of a combination of handwritten and typed notes.
A sample of the Fort St. John Concert Society’s constitution (August 1979). This document is of the constitution’s first page, containing information on the purposes of the Society.
The third session started on January 3rd 1983. They offered bagpipe lessons, arts and crafts and drawing.
These letters are from the Fort St. John Concert Society. They invite others to become patrons of their Concert Series and highlight the achievements made possible by the the support of their patrons.
Session 2 of the Artspace for Children program started on October 24 1983. They held many different activities for the kids from dance, arts and crafts, piano, drama and speech.
These documents are minutes from two Fort St. John Community Arts Council meetings. Both files discuss topics such as group reports and new business announcements.
Society News is a newsletter for the Concert Society (1980-1981). They contain announcements such as future concerts, upcoming meetings, and membership information.

Next, is a newsletter highlighting the upcoming concerts (1979-1980). The last document is a brochure advertising the features included in a Concert Society Membership (1980-1981).

Artspace for children is a developmental program for the children of Fort St John. The Arts Council wanted to offer classes in theatre, music, dance, ceramics and visual arts. to local kids.
This article talks about the events that were happening within the Peace-Liard Regional Arts Council in 1996. February 17th was the Juried Art Exhibition, It was a success. They elected a new slate of officers and the local Irish dancers win world recognition.
