“The Long and the Sort of It” was the 10th juried exhibition of the Peace River Chapter of the Federation of Canadian Artists. The show was juried by three members of the Federation of Canadian Artists that live in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. The Pamphlet shows the placement and awards from the exhibition which was held at Peace Gallery North in Fort St. John.
A letter from 2007 written by city manager, John Locher. It discusses the City of Fort St. John’s nterest in hosting the Western Canadian Ice Carving Olympic Qualifiers for 2009, and highlights Fort St. John’s other winter events.

Watts School if Irish Dance brought home many awards and prizes from a competition in Red Deer in 1993. Two of the dancers were given the opportunity to compete in Worlds in Dublin, Ireland in October of 1993.

The Fort St. John Airshow of 1969 took place on Saturday June 25th. Approximately 5000 spectators came to see the show. There were many great exhibitions that took place. The Red Knight jet acrobatic soloist was the grand finale and the most exciting event of the whole day.
